Our corpus is composed of sixteen texts. Six of these texts are written in French, and there are three texts written by women. The publication dates span from 1532 to 1785, allowing us to engage with material spanning three centuries. The table below gives the shortened title, date, author and the link to the source we consulted during our digital research. More details on these texts are found on our Bookshelf tab, where each text is given its own dedicated century ‘shelf’.
